ELI Exit Survey and TAMUC Student accounts
We've made it to the end!
Dr. Clinton from TAMUC has asked everyone to fill out an exit survey. You can find it here. It is long, so please make time (about one hour) to complete it in detail.
ALSO
You need to create your student account for the TAMUC online system called "GoLEO".
You will recieve your CWID in class on Friday. Your password will be your birthday in the MM/DD/YY format.
DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD
We will have time in class for this on Friday, so those of you with laptop computers please bring them!
Win 50,000 won gift certificate!
The Korean Tourism Office is currently running a contest to win a 50,000 won gift certificate that I thought my students would like. You enter the contest by submitting pictures of bad English you see in Korea. For more information go here.
International Cafe Show
Those students that like coffee will definately enjoy the International Cafe Show at COEX this weekend!
I will definately be there on Saturday in the early afternoon. Maybe I'll see you there!

Finally, it's Unit 9! Pretty soon our classes will be over and you all will be off to Texas. I've been thinking about how I will change things for my students next year. There are a few things I would like to do differently, even though I'm not sure if I will be able to.
Anyway, I thought the best thing to do would be to ask you, my students. So I thought I'd give you another chance at some extra credit points, and I know some of you really need it. Just fill out this survey. I will close the survey and tally the results after Unit 10. THANKS!

I highly encourage everyone to check out this link to take a look at the syllabi and required books for the classes you'll be taking next year at TAMUC.

Unit 7 Extra Credit: Complete an Academic Survey
For Unit 7, there is an opportunity to get extra credit.
As a student in the US, you will frequently be asked to complete surveys, helping other students with their research for their majors.

This survey is being done by a researcher in China about the usefulness of computers in language learning.
To earn the extra credit points, you must:
-Complete the survey
-INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS at the end of the survey. Otherwise I have no way to verify you did the work.
Unit 6 English Central Contest
It's Halloween!!!
So naturally, this Unit's English Central contest will have a Halloween theme.
On Monday October 31st, the person from each class with the best Halloween contest will not have to do English Central for Unit 7.
